What is the Premium Hardwood Collection?
These are a collection of solid hardwood frames available in 7 unique profiles with 30 standard finishes meticulously hand crafted by our master frame makers. Each frame features a finished corner and starts as a block of solid mahogany, walnut, oak, maple or ash.
This collection is unique because each frame features a wood face and a solid wood return that hides the side view of the TV as opposed to our standard molding collection which has universal black metal side to hide the side of the TV. This collection of frames can also be made in custom colors to match your existing wood finishes in the room. Contact us for details about custom finishing.
Below you will find each of the profiles and click here to view the available standard finishes and to order samples.
Available Side Depths
Each profile in this collection has it's own unique profile available for the side depth. Each profile has between 1, 2 or 3 depths available which can each be viewed through the links below for each profile. We also offer a "shallow" profile whichis more of a custom profile created by trimming away the back edge of the standard side depth for that profile. This approach is most often used for ultra thin TV's that are mounted very close to the wall and for recessed TV's mounted inside a recess in the wall.
Is a liner required?
Some of our frame styles you will notice require a liner. The hardwood collection does not require a liner for a TV frame only OR for a TV Frame with a TV Mirror. If you choose the Motorized Art screen concealment though, a liner will be necessary for us to conceal the motorized artwork mechanism.
Click here to learn more about the liner.
Due to the extra labor and higher material prices associated, this collection would be a slightly higher price than the standard molding collection.
"Complete Concealment Framing" is unique only to TV framing, covering to your screen's edge. The sides are meticulously designed to complement the face of the frame. Notice in the images above how the wood frame comes around the sides of the TV.
