Installation FAQ's

How do I install my new television frame?

Installation of your new frame is a simple process that will take about 5 minutes and will NOT require reinstalling the television. The frame will arrive completely assembled and ready to install. Your television should already to professionally wall hung on eiter a flat, tilt, or articulating arm bracket prior to frame installation. Simply slip the frame over the front of the television and reach behind the frame to clip and tighten the mounting straps that will be running vertically over the back of the television.

If I want to recess my television, how big does the opening need to be?

Many of our clients remodeling or building their homes want to recess the television. Before answering this question, we want to highly stress the importance of ensuring adequate ventillation. Generally, with surface mounted televisions this taken care of naturally with gravity as heat rises, but with recessed installs there needs to be a way for the hot air to escape. That said you'll also want to be careful about building a permanent recess to tightly fit a consumer electronic that may be upgraded or unexpectedly need replaced.

As for dimensions, this will vary depending on a variety of factors including TV model, speaker orientation, frame style, frame depth, TV wall bracket, etc. For depth we suggest a deeper recess of  6-10". This combined with an articulating arm wall bracket, will allow you to align the framed television to your desired depth and still easily pull out the TV to perform any maintence.
