      "As much as we like the esthetic appearance of the new frame, the fact that the frame blocks the light and motion sensor(s) preventing the full functionality of the Frame TV is disappointing. The proposed external sensor solution is not elegant and takes extra space defeating the concept of a camouflaged TV. Several users have written about modifying the frames to open the light access to the sensor at the bottom of the TV. It would be nice to be able to purchase the same frame in a version with a cut out."

      Why another cost associated with the Frame?

      "I would give a 5 star rating, but it appears that one must purchase another device that enables one to have the Frame TV shut off (go black) when in 'Art mode' and when there is no motion or activity in room where TV is positioned. Since recently purchasing a Deco Frame for my TV, I now can not set art to go off (when no movement in room) because apparently, with the 'Frame' it blocks the sensor that shuts down and activates the artwork. I saw no info on Frame site stating that this would need an 'add on' if a 'FRAME were to be added to the TV. I have already spent close to $2,000 getting the basics of Frame TV, Deco Frame and annual subscription for artwork. And now another cost is associated with having to purchase a sensor device?? AM I WRONG ABOUT THIS??"

      Will my Samsung 55” frame TV still auto shutoff in art mode if I add a frame to the TV?
